GAZ-AAA tires.

This Mini-art GAZ-AAA is the best-looking tires that I'm compiled.

the tires are 8 different part, but this is reflected in an excellent final result.

Tires are well designed. You can paint the tires and  wheel hoop in isolation. 

So you can easily get the exact trace

I paint tires Andrea 1. shadows black. its not pure black. But i thinks at you get much better looking when use little gray black . Then i  dry brushing tires ivory white.

I warm up tires in candle light and push tires in table to get looking at is the weight of a truck

First i paint wheel hoop  in AK- true metal color.

Wheel hoop i paint Russian Green  ( AK-750 )

Next step is use  dark brown wash ans some vallejo pigments to get rust  some place.

Final weathering is use  Tamiya  set .

GAZ-AAA motor

Hi to all!

This is first part of my next  diorama. Motor comes outside and that's why over weathering.

This update also includes a hint how I paint metallic surface. I hope at it some help yours own  works.

In this picture the engine looks the way it really looks. 

It s very hard to get good looking photos . Target is so small. and i am not good photographer.

 

1. first i  use AK true metal oil color. You get great metallic surface.

This i dry want little the darker surface so i use Wallejo pigment 

i dry brush all over motor.

2. next step is paint  it.. i use ak paint 750. 

i dont bursh it only use Foam rubber like photo. push it all over some  only narrow pars i use brush-

3. final edit is weathering motor.

i dry brush Vallejo pigments where it need..

those parts what rust i use red  and black pigments 

lover parts in motor i use  tamiya light sand. 

here and there i add AK fuel stains and motor oil

Next diorama i need   trucks . so here some photos from GAZ-AAA and some other diorama useful photos. Finnish army got lot war loot in Winter War and Continuation War. This is only one exsample  what army  got in Porlamme's pocket.

MOTTITALKOOT

This is the most time-consuming diorama I've ever undertaken. It required almost a year to complete.

I have custom-built most of the components. Only the basic forms of the figures and some little parts are factory-issue.

Figures are not glued to the diorama. A professional photographer is to take photographs of this work without figures and background. so figures little different positions in some photographs.

This is some kind training model for painting and  photograph white model.  All is paint this time  whit brush. not use airbrush.  this is  very easy to build. its out of  box  Only few think is self made  etc arresting wires and base

1/72 Airfix Sea Hurricane : back to hobby!

Greetings to all readers.

The work and the illness has taken all the time, but now back to making scale model. First a small warm-up work Airfix Sea Hurricane. This time i forget airbrush i want to train my brush painting skill. White is very hard to get looking good.
I also try get  very variable paint surface.  I put few teaser photos on plane. what you like?

Still need work... but almost ready

I dont like pure white in this scale. I thinks itsl looks like unnatural.  I use andreas miniatures white paints set.
