Eastern front : upcoming details part one and Changing name ???

Its time to  change plan. Trucks. etc still same but story of dioramas is little different.

During the war years 1942-1944 Finnish civilian cut firewood about 3,4 million Cubic metre for, because in Finland have fuel shortage. Some cars use wood gas, industry need woods,, etc
Civilian not got salary for  cut firewood , only they got medal


1 x Stere wood = iron  medal
4 x Sterer wood = silver medal
16 x Stere wood = gold medal
52 x Stere wood = great axe medal

I have this medal's replica . it becomeson nameplate.

Diorama becomes  lot of old agricultural tools and Forestry tools. Almost everything has to make scratch.

These tools are currently a work in progress and many more.

and there are lot others details work in progress, wooden barrel, milk churn, milk cart, basket shovel etc.

I think at this way its much better than  older plan. Now i can tell also part of history which based true story. I like lot when i last time try to make diorama which one based photo (Suomussalmi 1941)

Now name is open... it maybe hardest part this diorama.

Eastern front : Part tree front garden plants

Nature is always very difficult to imitate. There is thousands different plant species. 

But if you are careful and have the patience . i have put 13 different  plants  and trees. I hope at don't forget somethings . I think its look good in this scale.

Front garden still need some work. . I must add some tools and traces of life. Well need bucket  etc..

but i think yard is ready now.

Eastern front : Part two

This diorama are many very slow progress points. So i have made many different work not to get bored. 

Well is made for green stuff . it is becoming a wooden deck and a bucket

Five different types of wood . They do not all come. When trees are ready i must watch what trees fit best. I put tree or four trees this diorama.

  I .chance little plan. Composition is now like this. This kind composition there is no  empty space when put soldier and civilian.
That cars and trucks not come this diorama. Only show positions for GAZ-AAA and some others trucks.

Frozen hell : ready

Final this work is ready! its very challenging try make snowy area for clothes and painting still lights and shadows. Figures are very old series and not very good but this vignette is very good training to raise skill.
